Chad’s enrolled in beauty school 15 years ago at the tender age of 17 and, after graduating with honors, did another year of apprenticeships and advanced training in hair design at Gene Jaurez Salons. He’s worked at salons around the city, including Gene Jaurez, Salon Ciba, Jean Weik Haircutters, and The Hair Chair (a shop for kids). Most recently, Chad worked at Rudy’s Barber Shops while finishing a creative writing degree at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA (and that ain’t no fiction).

Get beautified by a true artist and have a great time! Joie Belknap has been a licensed cosmetologist in the Seattle area for over 13 years. Her education includes advanced stylist training through the Bumble and Bumble Academy in New York, where she earned her certificate as a Master Stylist and an Education Coordinator for the line. Her passion for hair is only surpassed by her love of the rock n roll. Come feel at ease with her infamous cackle and ability to make anyone laugh and feel beautiful or sassy.

Lara graduated from Paul Mitchell Academy in Seattle in 1991, and has been doing hair ever since and lovin’ it. Her journey with hair began at the age of 17 where she trained and quickly graduated from a small Paul Mitchell product school. With a strong love for education, she frequently attends classes to keep up with new techniques and has trained with Keune, Redken, Schwartzkopf, Paul Mitchell and many other product lines. Meegan has been styling hair since 1994, she has trained with TIGI, Sebastian, Aveda, Bumble & Bumble & MOP product lines. After moving from Detroit, Michigan in 1997, she continued her education in extensive cutting and coloring techniques at Gary Manuel’s Phase 3 Salon, as well as worked at Rudy’s Barber Shops.

Meegan’s interest in product design and architecture has her attention to detail working overtime! On her days off you can find her kayaking, trekking and enjoying the great outdoors.

Donna Jean gave her first haircut when she was eleven years old. No longer slinging free amateur haircuts from her kitchen, Donna Jean has been a professional hairdresser for over ten years. She began her education at the Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty and graduated in the top percentile. She attended the Bumble and bumble Academy in NYC and was a Network Educator for four years.

Donna Jean has a wide spectrum of experience with cutting, coloring and highlighting all hair types. She loves variety and works well with men, women and kids. She does everything from fancy styling to wash-and-wear hair. She’s also very good with fine, thin hair, as she has this kind of hair herself!

Let’s have fun! Heather has always known she wanted to do hair, make people feel good and have fun doing it! At the young age of 14, she got her first job at a salon folding towels! After graduating high school, she attended the Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty in 1998. Hungry for more knowledge, Heather went to Gene Juarez Advanced Training specializing in color. During the last 12 years of doing hair, she has had many different classes in Alterna, TiGi, Loma, became certified in PureOlogy and even took a course in NYC at the Matrix Global Academy. Heather loves doing all hair! Men, women and kids! If you like natural, blended, precise foils, Heather’s your girl!
