 Nyssa started doing hair as soon as her parents let her wield a pair of scissors. As a teenager in the 1980s she was the designated hairstylist to both her trusting sisters and anyone else who wanted wild, rocker styles. After graduating in 1989 from Kristophers School of Beauty (in Santa Barbara, Ca.) she worked her way through art school doing hair. Nyssa has been splitting her time working as an artist and a stylist ever since. Her technique in both show a love of detail and color. Brandons hair dabbling started back in the mid 80s when he was bass player/hair artist in the ever so popular hair band Skratch (yes with a K). After graduating in 1996 with a degree in audio/video, he registered at Greenwood Academy of Hair and became an honor roll student. Hes worked mostly with Aveda, American Crew, and was a network educator for Bumble and Bumble which included classes in New York. His barbering skills are inspired by American Crews techniques which he feels are trend setting in short hair. Brandon is a perfectionist and is not afraid to take the time needed to deliver a stunning cut. After moving from Detroit, Michigan in 1997, she continued her education in extensive cutting and coloring techniques at Gary Manuels Phase 3 Salon, as well as worked at Rudys Barber Shops. Meegan’s interest in product design and architecture has her attention to detail working overtime! She believes the foundation of any good hairstyle is good communication between the client and stylist. She specializes in versatile, textured layers and multi-tonal highlights, and believes it is possible to be low-maintenance but still look stylish. She also enjoys experimenting with new techniques and taking classes so she always has new inspiration and something different to offer her clients. Ava graduated from Gene Juarez Academy in 2004. She has also completed training at Bumble and Bumble Academy in NY, HairPolice Academy in Minneapolis, Paul Mitchell Advanced Training in Los Angeles, and local classes with Schwartzkopf, Italy Color, Farouk/CHI, and LOreal Professional. No longer slinging free amateur haircuts from her kitchen, Donna Jean has been a professional hairdresser for over ten years. She began her education at the Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty and graduated in the top percentile. She attended the Bumble and bumble Academy in NYC and was a Network Educator for four years. Donna Jean has a wide spectrum of experience with cutting, coloring and highlighting all hair types. She loves variety and works well with men, women and kids. She does everything from fancy styling to wash-and-wear hair. and, after graduating with honors, did another year of apprenticeships

Jean Weik Haircutters, and The Hair Chair (a shop for kids). Most
recently, Chad worked at Rudys Barber Shops while finishing a
creative writing degree at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA

She grew up in the country thinking about rock-n-roll and which corn field the party was at that weekend. Jenny started doing haircuts in the girls bathroom of her high school. After so many of those, it was time to take things to the next level. She has done shows and classes with many famous hair artists; Hoarst, inventor of Aveda; David Ricqulio, inventor of Crew; Trevor Sorbie and Yosh. For the past 15 years, she has consistently attended classes with Bumble and Bumble, Mop, Matrix, Paul Mitchell, etal... keeping up on current new looks in razor cuts ,clippers, color, styling and up-dos.
