Shannon Mcconnell is a northwest artist and musician from Seattle, Washington. He has been involved in the local art and music scene since the 1980’s. He was a founding member of the legendary band “The Fall-Outs”, and the innovative group “The Pulses”, and has since performed in “The Intelligence”, and other side projects. His drawings and paintings have been exhibited locally at various galleries and other locations, while doing commissioned portraits and murals. Figural/Abstract allegorical scenes, Modern-Primitive elements, northwest colors, and the influence of sound (noise/music) are integrated in his imagery. He attended the University of Washington, Skidmore College (Saratoga Springs, NY), North Seattle and Seattle Central Community College, and The Art Institute of Seattle.
